Set Minimum Order by Distance: Configure Ranges & Zones
This is useful for stores that want to charge different delivery fees or require higher minimum orders for locations farther away.
Here's a quick video on how to enable this feature
Option 1: Set Minimum Order by Distance Range
1. Go to Delivery Settings
- From your dashboard, go to Settings
- Click Services
- Select Deliveries
2. Configure Distance-Based Fees
- Click Fees
- Select Range
- Create a delivery bracket by entering:
- Distance in kilometers
- Delivery fee
- Minimum order amount
3. Add More Distance Brackets
- Click Add to create another pricing range
- Repeat as needed
- Click Save
Option 2: Set Minimum Order by Delivery Zone
1. Create a Delivery Zone Map
- Open Custom Google Maps
- Create a new map
- Search for your store address
- Click Draw a Line > Add Line or Shape
- Draw the boundary around your delivery zone
- Rename the zone and click Save
Repeat this for additional delivery zones if needed.
2. Export the Map
- Click the three-dot menu on the map layer
- Select Export to KML or KMZ
- Choose:
- Export selected layer only
- Export as KML (not KMZ)
- Click Download
3. Upload the Map to Your Dashboard
- Return to your dashboard
- Upload the KML file
- Set:
- Delivery fee per zone
- Minimum order amount per zone
- Click Save
Testing the Setup
After saving:
- Visit your online store
- Enter a delivery address
- Confirm the correct zone and fees appear
- Try placing a test order
If the order total is below the required minimum:
- The customer will receive an error message
- They will only be able to continue once the minimum amount is met
